We are reopening on Monday 12th April.

Good Books Christian Bookshop and Resource Centre exists to serve the churches and communities of West Dorset/East Devon.

We sell new and second-hand adults’ and children’s books, greetings cards, music, gifts and church supplies (candles, altar breads, Baptism cards etc).  We have the Jo O’Farrell Memorial Quiet Corner where visitors can rest, enjoy a drink or read a book.

We are a collection point for Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes in November.

In the past we were also a hub for several community projects: Threads of Hope, Pathways to Care (incorporating Bridport and District Good Neighbours Scheme and Hopeful Hampers), the Bridport Book of Hours, and also a monthly Book Club. At present those associated with us are Pathways to Care (Good Neighbours Scheme and Hopeful Hampers.) If you are interested in volunteering to help out in the shop, as a driver, or with the hampers please ring or come in to collect an application form.

Thanks to a committed band of gifted volunteers, we are open 6 days a week – please see our opening times on the right.

Email the Good Books team if you have any queries, or please click ‘Contact’ in the menu at the top of this page to send us a message, or just give us a call on 01308 420483.
