- Good Books
Good Books Christian Bookshop and Resource Centre exists to serve the
churches and communities of West Dorset/East Devon.
We sell new and second-hand adults’ and children’s books, greetings
cards, music, gifts and church supplies (candles, altar breads, Baptism
cards etc). We have a Quiet Corner where visitors can rest.
- A wide range of cards
We are the local distributors for The Sarum Link, the monthly newspaper
of the Anglican Diocese of Salisbury, and a collection point for
Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes in November.
We are also the hub for several community projects: Threads of Hope,
Pathways to Care (incorporating Bridport and District Good Neighbours Scheme and Hopeful Hampers), the Bridport Book of Hours, and also a monthly Book Club.
- Children’s corner
We now have a bookSWAP scheme too, a chance to swap a favourite novel (or maybe biography or travel book) for something new to read.
Thanks to a committed band of gifted volunteers, we are open 6 days a
week – please see our opening times on the right.
